The cooking program with Chef Lee is an amazing experience. I hosted a Girls night in and we hired Chef Lee. She was very patient with me due to all of my dietary restrictions and allergies. She was still able to make the most amazing meal. We can’t wait for the next experience.

I first discovered Grands Family Cooking in 2011 for an event at my facility where I work with teenage youth on probation. It was so amazing to me how Chef Lee was able to get all 20 girls to participate in every part of her class from, writing, creating a menu, shopping, cooking and cleaning. Grands Family Cooking was inspired by grandparents in Chef Lee’s family. Chef Lee comes from an experienced cooking family. Chef Lee has worked with local group homes, the YMCA, as well as homeless shelters in her community teaching cooking classes and life skills. Her life is dedicated to improving her community by teaching and building positive connections through important skills needed in an enjoyable way. Chef Lee started a cooking class at a local group home in her community which expanded to the YMCA, cooking parties and much more.
As a highly qualified dedicated private chef who can teach you how to cook delicious dishes. Chef Lee saw first hand the need for positive programs in her community and decided to teach classes. Chef Lee has a degree in business, Culinary arts, and has worked with youth at risk and the homeless population for over 18 years. Her dedication and experience speaks for itself. Our cooking classes are arranged to cater to anyone of all ages. We offer classes for adults as well as kids who want to learn how to cook. We cater for all occasions.
Grands Family cooking is dedicated to providing a service that provides ongoing learning to the less fortunate in the community. It is the hope that many of our youth will learn the fundamentals of cooking and teach a family member or friend. We encourage everyone to be better than they were yesterday while never passing judgement. We believe in the philosophy of talking people how they are and allowing them to develop into their true selves by understanding and giving a listening ear.
To inspire, educate, and empower through cooking that will bring people together in a positive way by modeling positivity, entertaining to teach a lost skill. To teach interdependence to every person that we serve, making sure that they have the opportunity to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest potential and contribute back to their community. To spark a light, empower, educate, and teach through repetition.
